We have just added a new event for March! TAWN’s Fall Festival was the very first show that Left Hand Asylum did back in September 2012 and we decided we had to return for their Spring Festival.

The Asylum will be setting up our tent for the Holiday Craft Fair, sponsored by the Gaslight Theatre at the corners of Broadway and Kolb this Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th from 9 am – 6 pm. Stop on by and say hello.
Left Hand Asylum was a guest of D Eclectic Gifts this past weekend at TusCon 39, a Sci-fi convention. We met many interesting people, many in costume, and had such a blast that we signed up to do this event next year!
In the middle of the first of our 2 day rummage sale at my complex I was able to take a few hours reprieve and head off to one of the local schools to assist in a craft project with 22 kindergarteners. I volunteered to help my friend Lori, a member of a local craft group I am in and also mother to one of the kids (Douglas) in the class to make spiders. The energy level was high, the kids were so well behaved (even the biggest kid, me) and the crafting went by smoothly with all the kids having a blast, I even received high fives and hugs at the end….really made my day!. Ms. Palmer’s class, I can not wait for our follow up craft projects to come! Oh, and didn’t do too shabby on the first day of the rummage sale either, made enough to get my banners printed up, plus money to spare!
Started making Christmas ornaments, getting an early start to have enough stock for the Greenway Event in November.
It is sad to see Lolly go but she is going to a good home.
Saying goodbye to Oreo, she finally got released earlier today to a good home.

Well, the gift shop is up and running. Far from finished, but it is getting there.
