Greenway

It’s hard to believe that this coming weekend is actually the first show I was asked to participate in as a guest of D Eclectic Gifts. Since committing to that show I have gained some very valuable experience, joined an Arts and Craft Association, made some mistakes, made great friends and contacts and realized that though my stuff is not for everyone, when someone that gets it comes along and appreciates the warped side of life, the feeling is amazing. Looking forward to this weekend not only to join forces with Donna again, but to help a school earn money for their band.

Gaslight and Reid Park Events

With the first of the Gaslight Craft Shows plus the Reid Park Show behind us, the holiday shopping season has officially started. The weather was gorgeous for both events. The Reid Park show gave my friend Kevin, who makes planters, his first taste of the craft fair circuit and I suspect he has been bitten by the bug and will be striking out on his own now. His tile planters, made from reclaimed tile, were a hit! I think with his own space they will be better showcased and fly off the shelves! Many thanks go out to Craig, KC, Tina and Deboraha for their help with these events, love you my friends (hug).

Gaslight Theatre’s Holiday Craft Fair

The Asylum will be setting up our tent for the Holiday Craft Fair, sponsored by the Gaslight Theatre at the corners of Broadway and Kolb this Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th from 9 am – 6 pm. Stop on by and say hello.

TusCon

Left Hand Asylum was a guest of D Eclectic Gifts this past weekend at TusCon 39, a Sci-fi convention. We met many interesting people, many in costume, and had such a blast that we signed up to do this event next year!
